Heightened action on FMLA compliance

The Department of Labor (DOL) announced this month that it will be implementing "vigorous enforcement" of workplace rights in warehouse and logistics industries.
The Department of Labor (DOL) announced this month that it will be implementing "vigorous enforcement" of workplace rights in warehouse and logistics industries, including:
- Payment of legally earned wages, including minimum and overtime
- Safety from workplace harassment and retaliation when they claim their rights
- Workers not being prevented from taking time off under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
The initiative will also target misclassification of employees as independent contractors.
